Congratulations again to the community and business associations of Harbord Village, the Annex and Huron Sussex for their continuing support of the BLOOR BORDEN FARMERS' MARKET. Mark June 24 in your calendar and be sure to come — that's the day for the 2009 Grand Opening.

Last year's market Wednesdays were delightfully festive events, with eco-sensitive neighbours flocking from every direction — bringing their own bags and plastic containers with them, as requested.

Last year I volunteered to take photos, and you can see the results here. I'll be taking new photos at this year's market, so check back here soon. This year I am also taking on the additional role of Volunteer Committee Treasurer — see you at the market!

 This is a Certified Farmers' Market featuring real farmers selling only what they produce locally. Each week enjoy fresh, local fruits and vegetables, eggs, cheese, honey, meats, baked goods, free draws and lots more. All the farmers' stands are under canopies, but bring your hat anyway!
