Palmerston Avenue Junior Public School (located in the centre of Seaton Village)
(Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6 — English)
As well as fine English and Gifted Student programs, this school offers a very popular French immersion program. Seaton Village is included in the catchment area for children accepted into the Palmerston Avenue School's French Immersion program; however, it is important to understand that living in the catchment area is not a guarantee that your child will be sent to this particular school for his/her French immersion education. TDSB students apply to the program, not to a particular school, and your child could end up being sent to a different school. However, the TDSB does try to minimize bussing, so children living in the catchment area do have a better chance of being sent to this school — but, again, there is no guarantee. Also, be aware that TDSB attendance boundaries and admission criteria for schools and/or programs may be changed at any time in accordance with Board policy and procedures.
