Vermont Square Park

Vermont Square Park is a tree-lined, lush city park in the centre of the Seaton Village neighbourhood. In the middle-west is a fenced-in playground with a wading pool. To the east is an indoor hockey rink. On the northern side is an indoor pool, community center and daycare. 


Vermont Square Park includes a children's playground and wading pool, with with three bocce courts  on the south side, and an area for off-leash dog walking.

This park is also home to the St. Albans Boys' and Girls' Club which has a myriad of programs for families and children including preschool programs, a summer camp, a games room, a computer room, a weight room, a gymnasium, and much more.

Christie Pits Park

Across the street from 11 Christie Condominiums is Christie Pits Park, one of Toronto's busiest parks. Named after the Christie Sand Pits, which were situated there until the early 1900s, the park covers 21.9 acres. About half of the park is treed with grassed picnic areas, while the rest accommodates a community centre, three baseball diamonds, an basketball courts, a soccer/rugby/football field, artificial ice rink, a children's playground and splash pad, an outdoor pool, and a wading poolpark benches and picnic tables.

With the sides of the pits highly sloped, they serve as the destination of choice for winter tobogganing.
